New Obsession
I don't know if this is necesarily an obsession, but I want to read and look at children's books. I like good illustrations. I get jealous of my teacher friends who have kid library's. However, I already have 6 boxes of books I don't read and only one bookshelf. My dad has a trunk with some of my children's books and it seems like a treasure chest to me because I don't remember what's in there and imagine it will be full of memories. I like memories. Actually memory aids. I'm not good at remembering on my own. That's probably one of the reasons I like pictures and photo album / scrap books.

i found out that 4 of the 6 book boxes weren't mine, but my in-laws'. what a relief to not have to sort, sell, or find bookshelves.
my son has a little library now that he is born and i get to read kid books again. my parents just gave him a great one called My Very First Christmas. it has nativity and xmas folklore stories with bright papercut pictures.
