Monday was the day, but our party was Saturday. It was great! Highlights include a blow-up cookie monster, yummy mac n cheese and chicken gyros, homemade hats, Ethanael rolling on the floor trying to see the shark on the back of his new swim trunks, and a family game of t-ball. He has recently impressed me by proclaiming while listening to a CD that it's guitar and associating his green beans at dinner time with Veggie Tales. Ethanael loves splashing in the sprinkler, playing in the sink, coloring and listening to music. He's also likes reading books and praying in which he whispers the key words after us. Unfortunately, he's been bonking his head a lot lately (frequently in relation to water play). In a span of two days he thunked and cut the back of his head, face planted biting his lip, and flipped of a couch onto the floor where he hit his head.
Jack's doing well. Saturday will be 4 weeks that he's been home. At his doctor's apt. Wednesday, he weighed 7lbs. 1oz. and was 20inches long . His cheeks and thighs are chubbing up a bit. Ethanael was born 12 days before his due date, which for Jack would've been Friday. He's perking up for longer periods and crying more, but is still a laid back baby who is very patient while I tend to his big brother.
The pictures aren't uploading and I need to get to bed. I'll try again tomorrow - hopefully.
